Welcome to the Selkirk Mountain Elk Ranch! Many of you have been visitors at the ranch and we are happy to welcome you here on the internet. If you haven't visited us at the ranch before please do so if ever you are in the neighborhood—we would enjoy showing you around!

We are located in scenic north Idaho. We are family owned and operated. Our goal is to raise healthy animals to produce elk meat that is naturally low in fat and cholesterol, antler products and market bulls. We offer an unique viewing and educational experience for our visitors.

Visit us for a day of listening to and watching elk. (Best times to see the elk are in the cool part of the day; in the morning and evening.) Please note that we are closed on Wednesdays. We have something for everyone whether you're a photography buff looking for the perfect photo or a hunter who wants to listen and study their behavior, a gourmet chef looking for some healthful ingredients for a special meal, or you just like watching because they are so beautiful, you won't be disappointed.
